Ray Welling, PhD is an Australian novelist and nonfiction author who writes investigative suspense shaped by real history and a journalist’s eye for detail. Before turning to fiction, he worked as a journalist, editor, publisher, and digital content strategist, and has written widely on marketing, media, and technology. Ray holds degrees from Northwestern University, Macquarie University, and the University of Sydney, and teaches digital marketing and media at several Australian universities. He continues to write both fiction and nonfiction—once even publishing an academic paper on Kim Kar
